1. Who We Are

Sahayak AI ("the Service") is operated by 2DS Communications Pvt. Ltd., trading as VividTesting.com, registered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Display name / username chosen during registration
Password (stored as a hashed value, never in plaintext)
Profile avatar (if uploaded)
Messages sent in community chat rooms
Private AI conversation messages

Automatically collected:

IP address (for security and legal compliance)
Browser / device type (user agent string)
Session timestamps
Room activity (join/leave events)

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service
To send AI responses to your messages
To enforce community guidelines and Terms of Service
To investigate abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
To send optional product updates (if you opt in)

4. Data Storage

All data is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database (servers in the US/EU). By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. Firebase is compliant with GDPR and SOC 2.

5. AI Conversations

Your private AI chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. These messages are processed in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations to train AI models without explicit consent.

6. Community Rooms

Messages posted in public community rooms (lobby, tech, music, etc.) are visible to all members of that room. Do not share personal or sensitive information in public rooms. Moderators and admins can view and delete messages as needed to enforce rules.

7. IP Address Logging

We log IP addresses for security purposes, to investigate abuse, and to comply with legal requests. IP logs are accessible only to platform administrators. We will share IP data with law enforcement when required by Indian law (IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023).

8. Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal or PayTM. We do not store your card numbers or payment credentials on our servers. Refer to PayPal's Privacy Policy and PayTM's Privacy Policy for how your payment data is handled.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your session, preferences, and AI memories locally on your device. This data is under your control — clearing browser storage removes it.

10. Your Rights

Access: Request a copy of your data
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
Correction: Update inaccurate data via your profile settings
Portability: Export your chat history (Mega Premium+ users)

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
